Mt. Zion, IL – January 25, 2019 – The Village of Mt. Zion is in the process of updating its utility bills. The first billing with the new format will take place with the January billing cycle. Customers can expect to see a new utility bill format on all billings sent out on February 1.
The new utility bills will come in their own envelope instead of a postcard. The new utility bill provides customers with increased security by protecting personal information. The new utility bill will also allow the Village to provide more information to the customers regarding usage history and any relevant information for customers such as required notifications. The changes do not impact utility rates. The changes do not impact when customers receive their bills or due dates each month.
